“Extra’s” AJ Calloway was with “Scandal” star Kerry Washington in NYC as Pope Francis and his motorcade drove by and “Extra’s” cameras caught the whole thing!
“That was amazing!,” Kerry gushed. “We saw him in his little Fiat!”
Then came confession from the “Scandal” star regarding the Pope:
“He’s my celebrity crush, Pope Francis, because he is so generous and such a revolutionary. He is so compassionate. I’m not even Catholic but I just think what he stands for in carrying the message of God not being about judgment but about service is really extraordinary.”
It was a matter of being in the right place at the right time. AJ and Kerry were at the Plaza Hotel for her Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Domestic Violence Initiative event.
