T.I., Fetty Wap, Rich Homie Quan, Dej Loaf, Kid Ink, Young Dro, DJ Mustard and DJ Premier are the first performers announced for the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards, hosted for the third straight year by Snoop Dogg.

Also announced as this year’s “I Am Hip Hop” Award honoree: legendary rapper Scarface. The Houston native first came to prominence with the Geto Boys on the 1991 top 10 hit “Mind Playing Tricks on Me.” Scarface has since released 12 solo albums, including chart-toppers “The World is Yours,” “The Untouchable” and “My Homies.” Deeply Rooted, which was released on Sept. 4, debuted and peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 — his highest charting album since 2002’s The Fix reached No. 4.

Drake heads the BET Hip Hop Awards nominations tally with 12 nods. Close behind is Big Sean (10 nominations), followed by Nicki Minaj (nine) and Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole (eight apiece).

The ceremony will be taped at Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta on Oct. 9 and premiere on Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. ET.
