LAS VEGAS (AP) — Sentencing has been reset to Dec. 17 for former NFL star Darren Sharper in a felony Las Vegas attempted sex assault case made part of a four-state plea agreement.

Defense attorney Richard Schonfeld said Wednesday that prosecutors didn’t oppose the delay during a Sept. 3 hearing in Clark County District Court.

Sharper is expected to appear by video from Louisiana, where he’s jailed after pleading guilty in June to three rape charges.

Sharper pleaded guilty in March in Las Vegas to attempted sexual assault.

A plea deal calls for the 39-year-old Sharper to be sentenced to 38 months to eight years, but serve the Nevada time concurrently with sentences from California, Arizona, and state and federal courts in New Orleans.

Those sentences are expected to amount to about nine years.

EXACTLY what ive been saying, the biggest “threat” to black lives is other blacks & that’s sad, how can we expect others to value our lives when they witness our own people slaughtering eachother like caddle … if the situation was reversed & the “shoe was on the other foot” we would probably have the same ignorant mindset .. all lives matter all the time, black lives matter all the time
