UCLA football keeps getting tackled by internal drama. The latest comes via one of the school’s star players taking a major hit off the field.
According to TMZ Sports, the university suspended Ishmael Adams indefinitely after the cornerback allegedly fought and robbed an Uber driver of his cell phone early Sunday morning (Aug. 30). Fortunately for authorities, the incident took place in front of a police station.
As the police investigate the incident, UCLA is already dealing with the situation as head coach Jim Mora announced Tuesday (Sept. 1) that Adams has been indefinitely suspended.
The move is the latest development in a string off-season incidents involving UCLA’s football program. With things like Diddy swinging a kettle at a coach and losing Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell, who has moved on to bigger and better things, the #13 ranked Bruins has more than enough distractions as it gears up to take on Virginia Saturday (Sept. 5).
