VLAD TV caught up with Karrine ‘Superhead’ Steffans recently, and the bestselling author made the surprising revelation that her ongoing health issues and chronic sickness, resulting from anemia, caused her to miscarry a pregnancy that she had not yet disclosed to the public.

As Vlad reports, Steffans is still mournful of the recent loss, which left her immobile and on bed rest for several weeks. Though she hasn’t seen her former lover Lil Wayne since 2014, Steffans clears up any misconceptions about Wayne being the father. Check out the full interview in the video below. Steffans recently posted the following about Weezy on her website:

“let me assure you that no matter my physical condition, @liltunechi has nothing to do with it, nor has he been a significant part of my life for well over a year. Though I will always wish my friend love and happiness, my life does not revolve around him, but rather my husband and our family. It would be in everyone’s best interest to move on, as I have…”

Folks critical of Karrine were quick to blame her high risk lifestyle for the miscarriage, posting comments such as “Your uterus (isn’t) strong enough to hold a baby, been used as a punching bag for far too long.” …. Ouch. The internet has no chill.

The former video model-turned-“Confessions of a Video Vixen” novelist was recently asked if it was possible to outgrow labels like “ho” or “Superhead.” Her response:

“I don’t like the idea that women are always labeled and men aren’t. The thing about sex is that when I’m having it with a man, he’s also having sex with me at the exact same time! When we get up, I’m the ho and he’s the man so I don’t subscribe to society’s labels. I define who I am.”

A brief recap for those who don’t know, over a decade ago, rapper Ja Rule coined Steffans with the nickname “Superhead” because of her dynamic fellatio skills, a pet name that became very popular among her male celebrity clientele including Jay-Z, Vin Diesel, Usher, Puffy, Method Man, Ray J and more. Steffans has spilled the tea about her many lovers in the various books she’s written over the years.

“For a very long time, when I was signed to particular publishing company, they wanted me to be a particular way because that sold books but that’s not who I am privately. I’ve always been a homebody. You’ve never seen photos of me doing random shit in the club. I go the hell to sleep.”
