Veteran actor and rapper Ice Cube is the producer for the movie Straight Outta Compton about his group, NWA. The story chronicles when five young men translated their experiences growing up into brutally honest music that rebelled against abusive authority, they gave an explosive voice to a silenced generation.

Film Title: Straight Outta Compton

The film premieres today and he talked to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about his son, O’Shea Jackson, Jr. portrayal of him in the film and of course the rumored rift between he and Suge Knight.

    The movie made me THINK, get ANGRY, LAUGH, and CRY. I loved the movie because it took me back to when I was 18. It was truthful in the way I remembered it and followed it in the media back in the day

    I’m a huge Cube fan too, but I’m just not dying to see it. I hope it’s all what they want it to be and very successful, I’ll have to wait for some reviews, from real folks not the movie critics.
