J. Cole is usually never the butt of one’s jokes, but in this case, he must’ve rubbed someone the wrong way.
During the middle of his performance at a San Diego show on July 17th, the 2014Forest Hills Driverapper was struck in his face with an iPhone. Cole was performing his 2013 smash hit “Power Trip” when the incident occurred.
One would’ve reacted in a rash way, but Cole took the higher road. He laughed it off, took a quick look at the phone, and put it in his pocket. It is unknown whether or not the kid ever got his phone back.
