Tami Roman, the bad girl of Basketball Wives who is among the pioneers of reality TV via her start on MTV’s classic show The Real World, made a surprising announcement this week. The mother of two daughters with her ex-husband, former NBA star Kenny Anderson, Roman just announced she’s pregnant at age 45.
The 45-year-old revealed that she was just 6 weeks pregnant during an appearance on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta After Party Live Monday evening.
This marks the reality star’s first child with her boyfriend Reggie Youngblood, who is 17 years her junior.
“I feel this is the perfect place to let everybody know that I am granting wishes,” she explained during the live show before adding, “I am six weeks pregnant.”
Fans of the reality star were somewhat shocked by the baby announcement, largely due to the fact that Roman is not even in her second trimester yet, but also because she’s been very vocal on Basketball Wives about not wanting to have any more children.
Both she and Youngblood are currently on this season of Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars alongside Kendra Wilkinson Baskett and Hank Baskett. In fact, the two ladies recently got into a major scuffle on the show that showed the former Girls Next Door star lunging at Roman during a verbal altercation.
