Rapper Lionel “Chinx” Pickens, an associate of French Montana and a member of the Coke Boys crew, was killed in Queens, New York last month in a drive-by while sitting in a parked car. His murder remains unsolved. Since his death, reports have surfaced that he was dating Malika Haqq, who is part of the new Kardashian spinoff show Dash Dolls and a longtime bestie to Khloe Kardashian.
It was also revealed after his murder that he was married and had three kids with Janelli Pickens. Now, things take an ever crazier turn as Pickens and Chinx’ pregnant girlfriend, Patricija Muratovi, appeared together with Pickens’ children, all smiles, at Muratovi’s baby shower.
This was after reality star and Bow Wow’ fiancee Erica Mena and various relatives of Pickens took Haqq on via social media to read her for dealing with a married man. It’s unclear whether Haqq and Chinx were actually dating although they’ve been photographed together and Haqq penned a tribute to him on Instagram. Some of her critics suggested that their alleged relationship was for Haqq’s upcoming show.
While we credit the women for their maturity in the situation (after all they are parents to siblings whose father has died) we wonder if the acceptance of the situation doesn’t say something troubling about the state of today’s relationships.
