Before there was a Caitlyn Jenner, Laverne Cox was busy blazing a trail — as the first openly transgender person to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy for acting, the first to make the cover of Time magazine, and now the first ever transgender person to have a wax model at Madame Tussauds.

The “Orange Is The New Black” star will have her life size figure unveiled at the attraction in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf on June 26, during Pride Weekend. She’ll join the likes of George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio in the museum.

“When I think about being who I am, a black trans woman from a working class background raised in Mobile, Alabama, this honor feels even more improbable and extraordinary,” said Cox in a statement. “I hope that this will be a source of inspiration for every one who encounters it to believe that their dreams matter and are possible.”

“Orange is the New Black” Season 3 begins this Friday, June 12, on Netlix.
