It was all a hoax.

That looks to be the verdict as Cheryl Lynn is disputing all the talk surrounding tweets she supposedly sent to fellow R&B singer Anita Baker.

Speaking to HelloBeautiful.com, Lynne’s manager, Thurlene Johnson stated that the tweets in question did not come from a verified account. Adding to that, Johnson mentioned that Lynn doesn’t even have a Twitter account.

“Cheryl Lynn does not have a Twitter or Facebook account,” told the site on Monday. “The individual sending the communications is an imposter pretending to be Cheryl Lynn. Twitter has been made aware of this situation several time over the last two years. Careful scrutiny of the tweets reveals it is not a verified account.”

Johnson’s comments follow last week’s news of a beef Lynn had with Baker over the “Giving You the Best That I Got” entertainer blocking her on Twitter. According to media sources, the situation resulted in a back and forth between the two vocalists that caught the attention of many on social media.
