SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The family of the late Robin Williams is at odds over how to split the actor’s estate after meeting with a mediator.
Court records show that the actor’s widow, Susan Williams, and his three children remain divided over how much cash the widow should receive. The two sides have settled most of their differences over dividing the actor’s personal effects.
A hearing has been scheduled for Monday in San Francisco Superior Court. The judge scheduled the hearing two months ago hoping the two sides would reach a complete settlement by Monday.
But after meeting with a mediator in April and dividing the “Mrs. Doubtfire” actor’s personal effects, the two sides said they are still undecided over how much Susan Williams should receive over her lifetime.
Robin Williams hanged himself in August in the Tiburon home he shared with Susan Williams. Williams left most of his estate to his three children, including the proceeds from the sale of a Napa County home and property.
But Robin Williams did leave the Tiburon home to Susan Williams with instructions that she receive enough money to maintain it through her lifetime. Lawyers are still trying to determine how much money she should receive.
