Two of the franchise’s biggest stars, Shaunie O’Neal and Tami Roman, are joining Basketball Wives LA after starring in the original series, according to HipHollywood.
Season four will begin airing in July on VH1, and O’Neal told HipHollywood why she decided to join the LA version of the franchise.
“It just needed something,” said O’Neal who also executive produces the show. “And I think it gets good, it almost gets competitive unintentionally.”
The ladies will be joining Jackie Christie, Draya Michele, Brandi Maxiell, Malaysia Pargo and Meghan James from season four of Bad Girls Club.
“I have a couple of good surprises in store this season ,”she added. “Be patient, stay tuned, there will be some faces that you will be very surprised to see.”
“They never officially ended Miami, but none of us have ties to Miami anymore,” O’Neal continued. “So it didn’t make sense, we would all have to fly there just to shoot. So I guess you can say Basketball Wives Miami is officially gone, but you’ll still see the ladies of Miami floating around.”
