Guess Who? ‘Empire’ Promotes 2 Stars to Series Regulars

Gabourey Sidibe and Ta’Rhonda Jones will return to “Empire” as series regulars when season two premieres.
Sidibe plays Lucious Lyon’s (Terrence Howard) assistant and Jones plays Cookie Lyon’s (Taraji P. Henson) assistant. But neither one of them will be recurring in the fall.
“We love them both, and we want them both back as ongoing characters on the show,” the show’s producer, Ilene Chaiken said.
