RuPaul is reportedly on the shortlist to nab a hosting slot when E!’s “Fashion Police” returns later this year, following the departures of Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: ”E! loves working with RuPaul on the show ‘Good Work’ and would like to test Ru with others they are trying out for the show when it returns.
”E! feels that RuPaul would be awesome and they are interested in making it work.”
Current host Giuliana Rancic recently confirmed she’ll return to the show in September, despite setting in motion the exodus following her comments about Disney star Zendaya Coleman’s dreads.
She said: ”I think more than ever, [‘Fashion Police’] is definitely coming back, because [the controversy] shows that a lot of people were watching the show and enjoyed the show. So yeah, it’s coming back in September, in time for the Emmys. I will be on the show, Brad Goreski will be on the show, and now they just have to fill the other seats.”
Other stars rumored to be in the running include Khloe Kardashian and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes.
