Warren Sapp’s arrest for allegedly soliciting prostitutes in February affected him more than we thought.

In a newly released police interrogation video obtained by, Sapp suffers an emotional breakdown upon learning from Arizona police officers inform that he will go to jail. The clip captures the 42-year-old ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle burying his face in his hands and pulling his shirt over his head.

“I’m about to be booked for a John!” Sapp told an officer near the end of the video.

Sapp was ultimately charged with solicitation and assault after he allegedly tackled two women working as prostitutes and chased them (while naked) down the hallway of a hotel in Phoenix after the Super Bowl earlier this year.

According to Phoenix authorities, an argument over money caused the altercation.

Reporting on the situation, mentioned that Sapp didn’t know the names of the women in question. According to the former athlete, “one woman performed oral sex with a condom while the other one was on top of him.

“The less-occupied woman ‘kept talking,’ Sapp said, so he asked her, ‘Why don’t you use your mouth on me, instead of using it?’ That apparently made her angry, so she went to the bathroom while Sapp continued to receive a blowjob from the other woman,” the site stated.

“Sapp says in the video that he got angry after one of the women asked for a tip, and tells the officer that he chased them out of the room. During a police interrogation, one of the women said she hurt her leg when Sapp tackled both of them.”

News of the footage comes months after incident, which resulted in Sapp losing his job as an NFL Network commentator after media sources picked up the story. He was later released without bail after his arrest.

Other footage from Sapp’s interrogation that TMZ obtained features Sapp confessing that he paid to have the women perform oral sex on him.

“I put $600 on the table, [then] everybody got naked,” Sapp says in the video.

If convicted, Sapp could face up to six months in jail.
