Fox 5 San Diego is apologizing after displaying a photo of President Barack Obama as a rape suspect during an evening news broadcast.
Mike Wille, assignment editor for the station did not immediately apologize for the error telling the Times of San Diego, “It wasn’t on purpose”. Check out the blunder below.
The station went on to apologize during a Sunday newscast, anchor Misha DiBono said, “And we have an apology now. Friday night at 10 o’clock, we inadvertently used a photo of President Obama while reporting on a story about charges being dropped in a local case. We regret the error.”
