Rihanna’s lawyers must be just as fierce as the rock star, because the bad gal just won her lawsuit against Topshop. In case you missed it, the British retailer used a screenshot from Ri Ri’s “We Found Love” video on one of their sleeveless tanks without permission. In return, Ri Ri reportedly sued Topshop for $5 million.

Clearly, the Topshop item conflicts with Ri Ri’s River Island line. According to Complex, a judge ruled in favor of the island gal because the shirts were damaging to her “goodwill” and represented a loss of control over her reputation in the “fashion sphere.”

We don’t know exactly how much Ri Ri banked after the suit, but Topshop has to foot the bill for her legal fees.

In other Rihanna news, are you ready for her album #R8? We are! Rumor has it, she may be dropping the highly anticipation during Grammy weekend. The official Grammy account tweeted anchor emojis, the same emojis Ri Ri’s dancer tweeted with the caption, “Who else is ready for R8?”

Hmm..

And the fun doesn’t stop there. The NY Post is buzzing about a major entertainer planning to take over Times Square during All-Star Weekend. Fans are speculating that celeb is Rihanna.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but since February is Ri Ri’s birthday month, it all makes sense.
