What isn’t there to love about “Anaconda?” Not only was the song a commercial hit, and stirred controversy around the booty conversation. While some fans criticized the Barb for putting her cakes on display, Nicki saw the raunchy music video as empowering. Besides obvious reasons, “Anaconda” is that jam that gets the party going and booties clapping. How about a round of applause?!

Best Lyric: This dude named Michael used to ride motorcycles/ D*ck bigger than a tower, I ain’t talking about Eiffel’s/ Real country ass nigga, let me play with his rifle/ P*ssy put his a** to sleep, now he calling me NyQuil/ Now that bang bang bang/ I let him hit it ’cause he slang Cocaine/He toss my salad like his name Romaine.

6. “Bed Of Lies”

Nicki Minaj broke up with her boyfriend Safaree Samuels and funneled her anger, pain and tears into the heartfelt rap ballad “Bed Of Lies.” It’s one of Nicki’s more vulnerable tracks and revealed problems in her relationship that humanized the Barb.

Best Lyric: “You could never make eye contact/Everything you got was based off of my contacts/You a fraud, but Imma remain icon-stat/Balenciaga’s on my boots with the python strap

You was caught up in the rush, and you was caught up in the thrill of it/You was with me way before, I hit a quarter mil’ in it/ Put you in the crib and you ain’t never pay a bill in it/ I was killin’ it, man you got me poppin’ pills in it”

7. “Four Door Aventador

The LA Times called “Four Door Aventador,” [The Pinkprint’s] most striking and innovative track.” I partially agree.

I hate to bring up Lil’ Kim at a time like this, but it’s hard not to hear the original Queen Bee when I listen to “Four Door Aventador” which is one of the reasons I love it so much.

“Four Door Aventador” is definitely one of the best songs on the junior opus beat and lyrically-wise. It also highlights Parker Ighile, a newcomer to the beat game (and brilliant British artist).

Best Lyric: “I’m in Hollywood with Shia Labeouf/ Most of you rappers ain’t eating, that diet is rough/ You want some hot shit? Send that wire to us/ I make them change their name to Diddy, retire the puff.”

8. “Truffle Butter” Ft. Drake & Lil Wayne

What do chicks love more than truffle butter? Twerking! Pops into a split. Nicki’s “Truffle Butter” is a good time; the type of song you play while you’re painting your lips red and getting ready for a night out on the town. Like her second single “Only,” “Truffle Butter” features her Young Money brothers Lil Wayne and Drake, who equally drop braggadocious lyrics over the Maya Jane Coles production.

Best Lyric: “I must have about a milli on me right now/ And I ain’t talkin’ about that Lil Wayne record/ I’m still the highest sellin’ female rapper, for the record/ Man, this a 65 million single sold/ I ain’t gotta compete with a single soul/ I’m good with the ballpoint game, finger roll.”
