28-year-old Malika James was last seen early Saturday at Miami’s Art Basel. She was at the Corner Bar & Restaurant near downtown Miami. “It’s tough,” said Leonard James told CBS local news from the Pembroke Pines home he shares with his Malika. “I didn’t sleep last night. I tossed and turned all night. Probably won’t be able to see tonight worrying.”

Leonard first noticed that Malika was missing when she didn’t show up to one of her part time jobs at Corner Bakery. Since last seeing Malika, James has been quietly worrying and hoping that Malika is safe. None of Malika’s friends nor family have heard from her. “She is an adult, but it’s tough. She my only daughter. She’s my baby,” Leonard said.

Malika left her cell phone at home. She is believed to be in her car, a blue 2014 Ford Fiesta, with damage to the driver’s door due to a recent fender-bender. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Pembroke Pines Police.
