Jacque Reid talks to Dr. Alicia Cain, founder of ‘Miss Sis’, a magazine designed for black teen girls between the ages of 15-20.
On what’s missing from other Black magazines:
“What’s missing in the landscape in most of these publications is that they don’t about her hair, her skin, her body shape and they don’t talk about the social environment in which she has to grow,” Dr. Cain said.
