Faith Evans will team with her former husband Notorious B.I.G. for a new duet album featuring unreleased vocals from the late rapper.

In a new interview with HipHopHollywood, Faith revealed, “I’m actually about to start working on a special musical project with me and BIG… It’s something I’ve been thinking about doing for many, many years.”

She said all of the music is “unheard” songs, and would be in the vein of Natalie Cole’s album “Unforgettable” with her late father Nat King Cole.

This would be the first time in almost a decade that fans would hear the former couple on a song together. Besides Jay Z’s “A Dream,” which only used Big’s vocals after he died, Faith and Biggie only recorded released one song together: “One More Chance.”

It will be a minute before we hear any material from the project. Faith is “just getting into actually working on it,” she said.

The album will be titled, “The King and I.”
