The rigidness of a squared face can be softened by a a deep side part that starts directly above the arch in your eyebrows. Long layers also create an illusion of a rounded oval face by falling in a way that hides the harsh angles.
Oval
I hate to say it, but if there was a favorable shape for the face this would be it! Oval faces can pull off just about any part, on any side, with any style hair. The best part about this shape is that you can experiment and change your look up consistently with no problem!
