Some folks really wanted Porsha Williams off “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but Kandi Burruss spoke out for her wanting Williams to stay on the show.

“I don’t think anybody needs to be kicked off the show. We had a record-breaking season and I think everyone needs to come back,” Burruss told “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” back in April.

So well… Burruss sort of got what she wanted. Williams is staying on the show, but she’s been demoted because she isn’t that interesting, apparently.

Williams infamously attacked Kenya Moore on the reunion special of “RHOA.” And Moore advocated to have her removed the show, but it didn’t work. But maybe Williams’ demotion works for Moore.

Nevertheless, Burruss is still disappointed that Williams has been demoted from series regular to recurring housewife. And she told her followers on Instagram exacting how she feels about the ordeal.

“I’m excited about the new season of #RHOA coming back on November 9th because it’s gonna be good!!! BUT I’m sad that @porsha4real isn’t on this pic with us….,” Burruss wrote about the season seven promotion photo — featuring all the season six ladies, but Williams.

Wendy Williams thinks that it could be more than to the story. Wendy thinks Porsha was demoted due to the season six reunion brawl.

“Porsha had to turn her peach in….She’s been downgraded,” she said. “They were fed up with her violent behavior.”

But Wendy also believes Porsha learned her lesson since the brawl after it happened earlier this year and that the demotion wasn’t exactly necessary at this point.

“She really didn’t have a storyline,” Wendy said. But Claudia Jordan is basically replacing Porsha Williams. “Claudia and Kenya [Moore] are besties. It’s nice that Kenya now has a partner in crime,” Wendy said.
