News of a sequel to one of our favorite movies made its rounds around social media, sparking a fury of speculation.
A movie poster promoting a sequel to the fan favorite ‘Love & Basketball’ circulated and had many of us excited about the possibility of seeing what Monica and Quincy were up to 15 years later.
So is it true?
Click through to the next page to see whether or not we can expect to see Sanaa Lathan and Omar Epps reprise their famous roles as two next-door neighbors in Los Angeles who pursue their basketball careers before eventually falling for each other.
Unfortunately no.
The film’s Director Gina Price-Bythewood shot down the rumor on Twitter.
Omar Epps also took to his Twitter to confirm that the film was indeed not happening.
