Troubled Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel was released from prison earlier today and his departure was rather low-key for a celebrity.
News of Sigel’s prison release was first shared on Twitter by a man named Wayno. According to Wayno’s social media biography, he’s apart of Triangle Offense Management. Wayno Tweeted a photo of himself with Beans and another man with the caption, “My nigga back.”
Sigel was sentenced to two years behind bars after he was convicted for neglecting to pay federal taxes between 1999 and 2005. The total amount Beanie Sigel owed was $728,000. He started serving his sentence in 2012. More time was added to Beans’ six to 23 months were added to his sentence in 2013 which is related to an incident where he was caught in possession of a controlled substance.
Hopefully, Beanie Sigel can move past the street life long enough to deliver some hot music.
