She may or may not still be a real housewife, but reality star Porsha Williams has a new gig. She’s going to co-host Dish Nation with Ricky Smiley of “The Ricky Smiley Morning Show.” The Dish Network broadcast is show is seen by 1.52 million viewers nationwide, according to a press release.
Williams, who was one of The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s most popular and controversial stars, was rumored to be leaving the show after she physically retaliated to taunting from castmate Kenya Moore. Williams was arrested and charged with battery in April, after the Real Housewives Season 6 reunion show aired and showed the altercation, where she dragged Moore across the floor by her hair.
Nene Leakes recently told Life and Style magazine that all six members of the RHOA cast have been asked to return for Season 7, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet by Bravo. Leakes also said that everyone deserves a raise, as the show’s ratings have increased.
“On my very first day in the Atlanta studios of ‘Dish Nation’ I immediately felt a natural chemistry with the team,” Williams said in a statement. “Rickey Smiley is an amazing comic and I am thrilled to learn and grow with one of the best morning hosts in the country.”
