Yep, that’s right, I told you to do it “backwards”. We have always been told to do it the other way around, but it is actually more beneficial to do it this way. The conditioner protects the hair from becoming too limp and stripped from the ingredients of the shampoo. Also, we oftentimes condition and don’t rinse it all out. This can be a good bouncy wrap’s nightmare!

4. Use the best conditioner for YOUR hair type

What works for you may not work for me. You need to get to know your tresses and make sure that you are using products that are good for your hair’s texture. Thin, hick, curly, straight and wavy hair all have different needs.

5. Watch out for your roots 

Avoiding your roots while conditioning is extremely important. Starting from the ends and combing the conditioner to the mid-lengths of your hair is the best way to hydrate your strands where they need it most.
