The Rock has made a successful transition from wrestling stardom to serious acting. He’s played in the Fast and The Furious movies done mainstream acting films like The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King and in a few underrated gems along the way like Snitch and Gridiron Gang.
This time, he’s taking on Greek mythology as Hercules, the strongest of the Gods. So far, so good, as reviewers say it looks like he may have another hit on his hands.
Maxwell has plenty of hits and he’s on the road this weekend, despite not yet recording a followup to his platinum 2009 effort BLACKsummers’night. If you’re in or near the ‘Nati this weekend, Macy’s is sponsoring a two-day musical festival with artists including Mint Condition, Charlie Wilson and Chaka Khan.
