Tiny and T.I. have released dueling songs, encouraging even more speculation about their rocky marriage. From beef with Floyd Mayweather, who alleged (then denied) that he’s been with Tiny, to rumors that T.I. was with another woman on Mother’s Day and was planning to live in another house outside of the family home, it’s hard to tell just what is going on.
Fortunately for their fans, if unfortunately for them, they’ve told some of the story themselves. T.I.’s song “Stay” lamented his woman’s thirst for the attention of unworthy friends among other things, but in it, he also said he wants to make it work, while Tiny pretty much says the same on “What The F- You Gon’ Do?”
Well, grammar aside, Tiny is saying that the couple is willing to work on staying together. On Vibe.com, she talked to writer Aliya S. King about where she sees things heading.
I wrote this song a year ago. I never planned to put it out. It was therapy for me. At the time, I was really going through a lot. Stuff that the public didn’t know and still doesn’t know. And over the past year, as things have unfolded publicly, people expected me to speak on it. And then I realized, I did speak on all of this, a year ago, in this song. So it made sense to release it.
I’ve had people say, why not just talk to your husband about all this instead of talking to him through a song. Please believe, I’m doing that too! You’re not in our house. You’re not in our conversations. You’re not in our bed at night. This song is not all there is to this relationship.
