Caesar and his tribe of human-like apes return for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which reviewers say is a worthy sequel to the first movie. Now that there have been so many reboots of the Planet of the Apes franchise, we don’t know if there’s much left but apparently this one takes it to new levels.
If you missed it when it first aired, ESPN classic is re-airing the documentary about Michigan’s now legendary Fab Five, the college basketball team that came heartbreakingly close to a championship. If you’d rather see live music, Mint Condition heads to the Chi and if comedy’s your thing, you can check out Chris Tucker in Orlando.
Here’s the rest of what’s happening this weekend.
