Michael Strahan won’t be on the unemployment line anytime soon. He’s got not one, but three TV jobs – Live with Kelly and Michael, Good Morning America and Fox NFL Sunday. Good thing he’s a former athlete, as it must take some kind of stamina to handle all those gigs. The former New York Giant and Superbowl champion played all 15 NFL seasons with the team.

“It’s the jobs you don’t know about that are the real work,” Strahan, 42, says. “The ones you know of are the fun ones, the ones I love doing. The other jobs are the real work.”

Those ‘other” jobs include fiancée to reality TV star Nicole Murphy as well as father to four children. As for when they’re getting married, Strahan says that he has nothing else to say about that.

“After 21 years of doing interviews, I’m not answering that question,” Strahan says, laughing. “And stop looking at Twitter.”

This year, Strahan will be inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH on Saturday, August 2. The Ocean of Soul, Strahan’s alma mater Texas Southern University’s band, will travel with him, and perform at the ceremony with a little help from Kevin Hart. Hart provided $60,000 to help defray expenses.

Strahan says he’s grateful for the support.

“Every time I see Kevin I always tell him how unbelievable and inspiring he is they way he hustles through his jobs and make it look effortless. I couldn’t let him do it by himself,” Strahan says. “With the money from Kevin and myself and the money from Dr. Rutledge at TSU we were able to send the Ocean of Soul to the Hall of Fame and also to fund a scholarship so that it continues it’s not just a one-time thing and that’s it.

We’re able to fund the education of some kids in the future and that’s the most important thing that comes out of it.”
