Hip-Hop personality Amber Rose is making moves towards a legitimate acting career. Wiz Khalifa‘s wife was recently featured in Nick Cannon’s directorial debut “School Dance.” She plays one of the girls in the Sweet Girls clique, the baddest women in high school. While the film hits theaters today, Amber Rose is already moving on to a new acting gig.
In an interview with E! News, Rose revealed she landed a role in the upcoming ABC Sitcom pilot called “Selfie.” The show revolves around a woman who becomes a social media celebrity after an embarrassing video of her getting dumped by her boyfriend goes viral. Rose will play the character of FitBrit. Although she isn’t apart of the main cast, Amber’s role is a recurring one.
Amber expressed how hyped she was for the new role. “I’m so excited. I start shooting in August.”
While Rose patiently waits for August to roll around, she’s keeping herself busy with motherhood and her clothing line called Rose and Ono.
