If there was any doubt that crooner Joe still has a way with words, it was the population of the Red Velvet Cake studio at his In-Studio Jam appearance this morning. Population men: zero.
Well, that’s a testament to Joe’s romantic soul, once again showcased on his latest album, Bridges out next week. It’s his eleventh studio release.
“It’s a metaphor for relationships,” he says “I talk about that a lot on my album. Sometimes, unfortunately, you may have to burn some bridges as you go through your journey in life but most importantly it’s to build the ones that will sustain you. I’m on a much better bridge. Unfortunately I had to burn a bridge last year.”
Joe enlisted Kelly Rowland for his song “Love and Sex Part 2” which has its own sultry video starring the two. Joe’s been around for some time but has remained consistent throughout his career from his look to his brand of smooth soul.
