"Project Runway" Season 10 New York City Wrap Party - Arrivals

TVLine reports “America’s Next Top Model” alum-turned-actress Yaya DaCosta has been cast to play Houston in Angela Bassett‘s upcoming Lifetime biopic about Houston’s volatile relationship with Bobby Brown.

The biopic will be Bassett’s directorial debut. She released a statement on the film, “I have such regard for both Whitney’s and Bobby’s amazing talents and accomplishments; and I feel a responsibility in the telling of their story. Their humanity and bond fascinates us all. I’m beyond excited to have this opportunity to go behind the camera and into their world.”

Most recently, DaCosta starred in Lee Daniels’ “The Butler”.

Actually, Mac, the good girl had already gone “bad” BEFORE she met the “bad boy.” Also, this was a woman who was known to have a generous heart and unconditional love for those that she loved. Maybe people want to see the GOOD side and not just what the media has portrayed her as…a good for nothing drug addict. Her succumbing to drugs doesn’t make her a worthless human being. I bet you don’t have a lot of friends.

…won’t matter it will flop…and wil be on TV One or BET in no time. Who doesn’t already know the good girl turned starlet-meets bad boy-gets caught up in drugs-tries to make a comeback but succumbs to her vices-story??
