LA Deputy: Singer Chris Brown Released From Jail
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say singer Chris Brown has been released from a Los Angeles County jail.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s deputy Tony Moore tells The Associated Press that Brown was freed at 12:01 a.m. Monday.
Moore says he doesn’t have any other details on the release.
Brown has been in custody since mid-March, when he was arrested after being expelled from a court- ordered rehab sentence for violating its rules.
A judge last month ordered the R&B singer to remain in jail after he admitted he violated his probation by getting into an altercation outside a hotel in Washington, D.C., last year.
The troubled singer tweeted a message to his fans hours after his release:
Do you think he’s learned his lesson or is it only a matter of time before his temper gets the best of him?
