Dear Tom:
Our sister Vickie Ashford is the 10th of 11 children born to Willetta Ashford. Nine years ago, Vickie asked her employer of 22 years if there was any way possible that she could work from home to take care of our now 87-year old mother. Mom suffers from Parkinson’s disease, a chronic and progressive movement disorder. She is bed-ridden and cannot be left alone.
Vickie works very hard caring for our mother and working her job, even many weekends. She does not complain about either. Our Christmas Wish for Vickie is to throw her a big birthday bash for her 50th birthday on July 6. Through the years her birthday has always been overshadowed by 4th of July celebrations. She doesn’t complain about that either. Since this is a milestone birthday we want to make it very—very special and hopefully with your help Santa Tom we can.
Vickie listens to the show every day and on the App if she misses any part of it.
