It looks like our First Lady was bit by the acting bug! Just days after her sketch comedy debut on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, Michelle Obama travels to Miami and films a special cameo appearance for “Parks and Recreation.”

According to reports, Mrs. Obama is scheduled to guest star on the season finale of the hit NBC comedy. In the episode, titled “Moving Up,” she celebrates investments in “healthier out-of-school programs as part of her Let’s Move initiative dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity.” The one-hour closer is slated to air on Thursday, April 24 at 8 p.m.

If you’re not familiar with “Parks And Recreation,” funnywoman Amy Poehler stars as Leslie Knope, a proud civil servant in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana. Our First Lady is the latest politician to work with on the series, following past cameos by Vice President Joe Biden, Arizona Senator John McCain, California Senator Barbara Boxer and former Maine Senator Olympia Snowe.

Michelle Obama is willing to go the extra mile to promote her wellness campaign, and we support her each step of the way! Do you plan to tune in as well?
