Vanessa Simmons and boyfriend Mike Wayans welcomed their first child into the world on Friday! According to reports, the 30-year-old fashion and reality star gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
Vanessa’s uncle, Danny Simmons, announced the big news on Facebook Valentine’s Day night. “My brand spanking new Grand niece is named Ava Marie Jean Wayans…you go mommy Vanessa,” he wrote.
Rev Run’s eldest daughter couldn’t wait to see her new bundle of joy’s face. Days before giving girth, she shared this “Eviction Notice” flick with her Instagram followers. “Tenant has one week to vacate the premise to avoid forceful removal,” her belly read.
Now that the baby has arrived, wedding bells may be in the near future. During a previous interview with Essence.com, the new mom said she plans to walk down the aisle after losing the baby weight.
“Of course we talk about that [marriage] and it’s looking good. But I don’t want to be a pregnant bride. I wanna have a beautiful wedding, hopefully a destination wedding where I can show off my figure in a beautiful long flowing dress,” she said.
This is the first grandchild for Vanessa’s dad Rev Run and step-mom Justine. Congrats to the Simmons and Wayans families!
