According to reports, Michael Strahan and fiancee Nicole Murphy are eyeing a $25 million New York City penthouse. The lovebirds are currently renting a $20 million apartment in Beverly Hills, but are planning to upgrade and relocate to the East coast.
This would be a convenient move for Michael, seeing how his current co-hosting gig on ABC’s “Live! With Kelly and Michael” is directly across the street.
“The apartment has been on the market for a couple of months, now but real-estate sources tell us Strahan was immediately drawn to it because of its location,” the NY Daily News reports, “It would be a smart move for the New York Giants legend, whose current New York base is just blocks away. He’d be taking another page out of the Regis Philbin playbook: Reege, his predecessor on “Live!”, lives next door at 101 W. 67th and enjoyed a brisk walk to work each morning.”
Sources say the 150 Columbus Ave penthouse is 5,500 square feet with 10 rooms, including five bedrooms.
Michael is best known for his 15-year career with the New York Giants, and Nicole, Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife, is an executive producer and star on VH1′s “Hollywood Exes.”
