ATLANTA (AP) – The youngest son of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King has gotten married.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Dexter Scott King married longtime fiancee Leah Weber in a private ceremony Friday in California. The bride, originally from New Orleans, is a former broadcast journalist and business owner.

King is chairman of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta.

The King Center said in a statement that the couple plan to live in Malibu, Calif., where King has lived for several years.

The Atlanta newspaper reports that neither the bride nor groom could be reached for additional comment.

  1. Thanks foor the auspicious writeup. It in truth was a enjoyment account
it. Glance complicated to more brought agreeable from you!
By the way, how can wwe keep in touch?

  2. Everybody that is single isn’t gay. People don’t have to prove anything to anyone. I’m single and enjoying it. When it is time for the right man for me to come along, I’ll know it. What’s the rush? Dr. King wouldn’t have rushed any of his kids to get married. They are famous people. Kids of famous people need to be careful in a relationship. You can’t please everybody. “God and yourself are the only ones to please.

Your sister must not have been getting none to keep track of 4 people sex lives. So if they were having sex with every Tom, Dick and Sally yall would have been saying they oughta be ashamed of themselves. Tell your sister since she is all up in somebody’s else’s business that when her man was hitting her front door, another man was hitting her man’s back door since she is so busy trying to see who is hitting the King kids front door. As if everytime they get into a relationship they got to personally let her know everything they do. People who have lives don’t have time to worry about what someone else is doing.

My sister said to me decades ago that all 4 o the King children are gay because none of them were married nor in relationships, etc. I told her she was nuts. Now I’m wondering if she is correct (with the exception of Martin III). However, as you know, gay folks do get married and have a bunch of kids!! Straight marriage to them doesn’t mean a thing!! If Dexter and Leah never produce any kids, then my sister is probably correct, you think?!
