On this episode of “R&B Divas,” the drama from the mysterious “e-blast” on last week’s episode continued, and all of the ladies (minus Faith and Angie) gathered together with their managers to get to the bottom of everything. Of course, whenever the divas were all together in one room, drama was bound to happen and with the So So Def 20th Anniversary concert, Syleena’s mother moving in and Nicci’s daughter taking over her clothing line, things couldn’t have been more hectic! Who Sent The Mysterious Email? Last week, a mysterious email was sent out announcing the “R&B Divas” tour from an anonymous source. While all of the ladies suspected that Syleena was the culprit, she insisted that she wasn’t the one that leaked that information. She stated that she had no idea who sent out the email and made sure to clear her name of any blame. At that point, the girls were no closer to finding out who sent off the email and still had not made any advances toward planning the tour. I think it’s safe to say that this tour may never happen.

Nicci’s Daughter Moves Home
Nicci’s daughter, Brandy, just lost her job and decided to move back home with her parents. To get her back into the workforce, Nicci decided to allow Brandy to work with her clothing line, Curvado. Nicci gave Brandy the responsibility of being the brand’s spokesperson and organizing a photo shoot for the new line. After being super stressed out, Brandy finally pulled the photo shoot together with only one problem: the clothes weren’t there! As it turned out, Nicci forgot to tell everybody about the photo shoot and when it was crunch time, the clothes weren’t available! Wow! Looks like Nicci should have been the one stressing about the photo shoot instead of Brandy! SMH

Xscape Reunion Concert
LaTocha was too busy to worry about the other girls’ drama because she was preparing for her upcoming Xscape reunion concert at the So So Def 20th Anniversary (it’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years, isn’t it?!). She was surprised when she arrived to rehearsal and only two of the four members showed up (Tiny and Kandi were noticeable absent). Considering the public drama that the group endured in the past, it didn’t come as a shock to LaTocha (or anyone for that matter). When Jermaine Dupri showed up to rehearsal, he was not pleased with what he saw. Since he was the one that pretty much gave the girls their big break, LaTocha wanted to do everything to his liking so the pressure was on to make their performance perfect.
When it was finally time for the concert, the nerves were on and LaTocha was worried about how they would pull off the show without the other two members. When the two girls took the stage to sing, “Just Kick It”, the crowd went wild and they didn’t miss a step! I guess nobody noticed that Tiny and Kandi were missing from the performance after all!

Syleena’s Mother Moves In
Syleena’s mother was battling an alcohol addiction and Syleena felt pressured to take her in. Of course she loved her mom, but she wasn’t sure if she was up for the task of trying to take care of an alcoholic. On the flip side, she was happy to have extra help around the house for her children’s sake but was skeptical about having an alcoholic around her young children. When Syleena’s mother finally moved in, Syleena laid down a list of rules that had to be followed while under her roof. The rules included: eating healthy and not bossing her around. Syleena and her mom then had a heart to heart where she apologized for the way she was raised and for being drunk for most of her daughter’s childhood. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad having mom around the house for a while after all.
