Who knew the chief funkateer was even married?!
It’s all over for George Clinton and his wife of 22 years, Stephanie Lynn Clinton, reports TMZ. We guess you could say their marriage went to the (Atomic) dogs.
Florida documents show the two were married in Toledo, Ohio in 1990, but have “experienced long term separation” throughout the marriage and say “the marriage is irretrievably broken.”
According to docs, the now ex-couple has no children together, no shared property and no shared bank accounts.
George had a son from a previous relationship, George Jr, but he passed away in 2010 aged 50 after suffering from liver disease.
Stephanie was the P-Funk All-Stars front man’s second wife and she worked as his personal assistant and manager.
