Remember when they made you lose control? The 90’s was good to the R&B group Silk who scored hits with “Lose Control” and “Freak Me” from their 1992 album “Lose Control.” Discovered by Keith Sweat, the group made some personnel changes and recorded more albums, but as lead singer Li’l G had left the group, they weren’t well received. But in 2007, Li’l G rejoined the group and the guys are currently working on a CD.

As a holiday treat for their fans, Silk just released a Christmas recording “Home for Christmas,” available via any download site.  The crooners’ next release is expected to be a CD entitled “The Reunion,” but in the meantime, they’re spreading some Christmas cheer.
