Although Faith Evans boasts of “R&B Divas” being a no-drama show, Nicci Gilbert (second from the left) was recently shown the exit door.

Obviously some serious drama went down to create that situation.

But Gilbert, who, ironically, is the show’s co-creator, doesn’t seem to be holding any grudges; she still has her Curvato clothing line and hopes that a fan’s previous comment about her and the girls coming together on BET’s “Black Girls Rock,” will become a reality.

According to, TV One’s research showed that the audience didn’t connect with Nicci; surveys showed that 95 percent of the viewers said she is their least favorite diva.

Meanwhile, there’s talk that the show is headed towards an L.A.-based spin off.

As of now, Gilbert's firing remains technically under wraps until casting for season 2 begins.

Yeah, since “singing isn’t her passion anymore” she needs to bounce. And she doesn’t want to be in a “girl group”. I loved her with Brownstone, but she’s too damn bossy on this show.
