Diggy, OMG Girlz Join the Tom Joyner Family Reunion
What’s a family reunion without the kids? Well, in this case, it’s the teenagers of the OMG Girlz along with Diggy Simmons that will be part of the Teen show at the upcoming Tom Joyner Family Reunion. If you’re planning on heading down to Orlando from August 30 – September 3 then you know there’s already a roster of great entertainment planned including New Edition, the TJMS crew and even Tae-Bo star Billy Blanks but today’s announcement of young America’s hottest groups just ups the ante. Here’s a look at each group:
OMG GIRLZ
Zonnique Pullins -“Star”
Bahja Rodriquez -“Beauty”
Breaunna Womack – “Babydoll”
Anchored by Zonnique, daughter of Tameka “Tiny” Harris and stepdaughter of T.I., the trio is currently working on their debut “Officially Miss Guided.” They’ve gotten exposure through reality TV shows “Tiny and Toya” on BET as well as “T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle” on VH1 and have been on The “Scream” tour with Mindless Behavior, Diggy Simmons and Jacob Latimore. Reginae Carter, Li’l Wayne’s daughter was once in the group, but dropped out. The OMG Girlz had a hit with “Gucci This, (Gucci That)” earlier this year, and are currently promoting their new single “Where the Boys At.”

DANIEL DWAYNE “DIGGY” SIMMONS
The second-generation rap star is the son of legendary rapper Joseph “Run” Simmons and he’s easily following in his father’s footsteps experiencing early success. Just 17, Diggy has already released his first CD, “Unexpected Arrival” earlier this year and been on the Scream tour. His current single is “4 Letter Word” and he’s also a guest on Mindless Behavior’s single “Mrs. Right.” Diggy got his first taste of fame starring on “Run’s House” his family’s MTV reality show which aired for six seasons from 2005-2009.
