Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction and usually a lot more interesting.  Some celebrities will go to great lengths to remain relevant, see their names in print or even just be mentioned.  Here’s some famous folks who made headlines (some) intentionally and some . . . not so much . . . but could definitely star in their own lifetime movie.

1. Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton just landed a lead role in a new lifetime movie ‘Twist of Faith.’Her son Diezel will also be in the film playing the role of Braxton’s character’s son. Heaven knows she has had enough tragedy, heartbreak, health issues, money woes, etc. to play herself in a movie. (AP)

2. Kim Kardashian

Who knew a home movie starring yourself and your current boyfriend could lead to such a fabulous life? The queen of reality television, that’s who. Her resume is not too shabby; model, actress, entrepreneur, socialite, designer and the star of her own reality TV show. She also moves seamlessly from man to man. Ray J, Reggie Bush, Kris Humphries and currently Kanye West. Others that didn’t make the cut . . . include Miles Austin, Gabriel Aubry, Michael Copon and Cristiano Ronaldo. (AP)

3. Rihanna

A beautiful little Island girl with a beautiful voice comes to the Big Apple and lands herself a recording contract. She meets an up and coming R&B singer who happens to be handsome, talented and soon they are inseparable. Unfortunately, he apparently had a really bad temper and to incur his wrath is to suffer it. A couple of years go by, bruises along with memories fade and once again they are drawn to each other. (AP)

4. Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods is globally recognized as the best golfer of this generation. According to him, he is a caublasian (black, white and asian). A great title for a Lifetime movie . . ‘The Caublasian’ is not about golf and the only time it will be mentioned is when his wife at the time, Elin bashes out the window of his SUV with one of his golf clubs. This will be about Sex, Sex, Sex, Sexting, hookers, escorts, hos, hos and more hos and all the money he has to give Elin in the divorce settlement. (AP)

5. NeNe Leakes

NeNe Leakes: Her quote ‘I don’t keep up with the Joneses, I am the Joneses’ would make a perfect Lifetime movie title. NeNe was a former stripper and a victim of abuse who landed a spot on RHOA and soon became a fan favorite. It wasn’t long before NeNe was a household name and making big bucks. Another great quote ‘I’m Rich, Bitch’! (AP)

6. Keyshia Cole

Keyshia’s troubled childhood has been no secret after starring in a few reality shows that detailed her life. Being born to a drug-addicted mom and an unidentified father, Cole was adopted by a family friend. Now, the once troubled teen is married to an NBA baller and has earned a successful music career.

7. Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown engaged in a whirlwind romance with Eddie Murphy that left her in a nasty paternity suit instead of a fantasy. Murphy publicly denied being the father of Mel B’s daughter Angel Iris, which was later proven by a positive paternity test.

8. Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger rose to fame as the world’s top bodybuilder, launching a career that would make him a Hollywood star. He met and married into the Kennedy family, went into politics and was elected as governor of California. But it’s all that stuff in between that makes him the perfect candidate for his own Lifetime movie. . . sexual harassment claims, a love child, groping charges. He doesn’t even seem to have a type. If you are female and have a bum, you’re his type. (AP)

9. Cassie

Cassie could play the typical “other woman”. She popped on the scene in 2005 and soon after she was linked romantically to her boss Diddy. Many years passed and it never came out as official, while Diddy had three daughters during this time. Finally in 2012 the two came out as couple.

10. Brandy

Everyone knows Brandy was a teen sensation; fast forward to 2002 when she became pregnant with her alleged husband who we later find out was not her husband. Then in 2006, Brandy crashed into a man’s Toyota which left him dead. Now seven years later, she has overcome all the trouble and is engaged to be married. If that’s not a Lifetime script.

11. Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige has all of the ingredients to a good Lifetime movie. The R&B legend has dealt with drug addiction, a physically abusive relationship, a fried chicken fiasco, and a shady foundation that has had a lot of money issues.

12. Tyler Perry

Perry grew up in poverty in NOLA, overcame homelessness, & struck it rich with his straight-talking, advice-pushing, but funny character Madea.

13. Gabrielle Union

At 19, this star with the big smile had a gun put to her head by a robber and was then raped by him while working at a shoe store. Despite going through that difficult ordeal Union used therapy and the UCLA rape crisis center as a way to overcome and become the person she is today.

14. Jennifer Hudson

Hudson rose to fame after a stint on “American Idol” and an Oscar-winning performance in “Dream Girls.” Everything was looking up for the big-voiced star until 2008 when her mother, brother, and young nephew were murdered by a close family friend. Despite, the devastating loss, Hudson bounced back find love with WWE’s punk, having a son, and losing over 80 pounds. (PR)

15. R. Kelly

R. Kelly grew up in Hyde Park, Chicago in a single mother home with three other siblings. At a young age, he was sexually abused and at the age of 11, he was shot in the shoulder while riding home. He began street performing underneath the Chicago “L” train and then formed a group with his friend Marc McWilliams, Vincent Walker, and Shawn Brooks in 1989. In 1990 the group disbanded and R. Kelly signed. He became really popular with his music and among the ladies until his first mess up when he illegally married the late 15-year-old singer Aaliyah in 1994. In 2002 he got involved in a sex tape scandal showing him having sex and urinating on an underage a girl. He went to court for a while with that before picking more allegations of having a sex cult in in 2017.

16. Tyrese

Raised by his mother after his father left with three other siblings in Los Angeles, CA. He started singing from a young age and started out in a Coca-Cola commerical. He had couple singles and became apart of the singing group in 2007 with Tank and Ginuwine. But it wasn’t unitl 2017 that Tyrese’s life could be considered a Lifetime movie. The “Fast & Furious” star has been fighting with The Rock about the next film to his custody battle with his ex-wife that’s caused him chest pains after court, sending a plane in the sky with a message of love for his daughter, buying his mother a new home, and dedicating the song “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye to his 10-year-old daughter.
