Being in the comedy business for 23 years, Rod Man knows the struggle of making it and never forgetting how you get there. He and Kym Whitley go way back, all the way to the days of him coming to L.A.
“I stayed on a futon in her house with a Shih Tzu. The dog passed gas. I’ve never smelled dog gas,” laughed Man. “I don’t know what she was feeding that dog.”
He never forgot how Kym helped him get his start in Los Angeles. “I came and she hooked me up,” explained Man. “She helped me get my feet down here.”
Catch Man at the Stardome in Birmingham, Alabama April 20-21.
