Via Instagram, December 27, 2017, singer Solange revealed to fans that she’d been battling an autonomic disorder for some time.
For the last 5 months, she explains being diagnosed and trying to learn more about the disease. In a lengthy Instagram paragraph, Solange explains how she won’t be attending an NYE performance in South Africa because of her condition.
She explains, “right now, my doctors are not clearing me for such an extended lengthy flight, and doing a rigorous show right after,” as she’s learning more and receiving treatment.

Definitely pouring her heart out in the best way, Solange was looking forward to bringing in the new year with the people of South Africa but is happy to be able to spend it at home with her family.
