Detroit police are looking into a shooting early Wednesday morning on September 20, 2017, that took the life a 54-year old man.
The incident occurred around 6:30 am on the west side of Detroit. In an interview with the Detroit News, Donate Freeman the Detroit Police Department’s social media manager said the man was shot in the head and died on scene.
According to police the suspect was dealing drugs from the victim’s home. The two began arguing when the incident turned violent and led to shooting in the basement and backyard.
The suspect is a 22-year-old African-American male who also sustained a gunshot wound He was taken to the hospital.
